2016 EDITION RELEASED
“Changing culture is no small feat, but educational environments provide fertile ground.”
The 2015-2016 Editorial Board is excited to release our latest volume, The Politics of Black Space. The 2016 edition features articles, commentaries, interviews and creative works illuminating student movements to reaffirm identity in spaces where Black visibility and input is limited, if it exists at all. With contributors spanning educational institutions, professions, ethnicities and nationalities, the issue showcases a range of strategies necessary to impact implicit bias, systematic inequality and police brutality within and around institutional settings. As we continue to move towards solution orientation, we hope to inspire activists – both young and old – to continue to use their gifts in furtherance of social change.
